WHERE’S THE GOLD?
Our Resident Prospector, “Gold Ray” knows. Here he is introducing a camper to the excitement of Gold Panning at the Ranch Water Wheel Mill Pond. He has a wealth of knowledge to share, from where gold is likely to be found and why, to the various means the 49ers used to find the treasures of the Mother Lode, to where to try your skills at nearby streams.
Lessons are complimentary, and are held every Tuesday through Saturday at 10am and 1pm by appointment (24 hours advance notice please). We supply the pans and plenty of excitement! Let “Gold Ray” shine his “rays” of knowledge down on you!
